As a teacher by trade, I burned myself OUT my first year teaching and I vowed to NEVER do that again! As a teacher by trade, it requires an extraordinary amount of work, but if you don't take breaks, you will burn out and lose the energy and creativity that you need to implement your ideas. Staying late everyday, signing up for every committee etc.. is NOT the way to go! Taking care of your needs is as revolutionary as it gets !
